For over a century, there have been several recommendations on sleep for kids. New studies have shown that in general children are sleeping less each year. In studies, the blame has always been shown to be whatever new technology was available at the time from light bulbs to the interactive phones and computers available now. What we know is sleep is important for daily function, general health and school performance. More importantly every child (and adult) is unique and has different needs.
