For most of us it may turn out to be a nothing more than a nasty cold, but for small children it could be life threatening. Dr. Talibi explains details on NBC 12 Neighborhood Health Watch about RSV.
Dr. Talibi warn us of the dangers of RSV.
Anybody could get RSV, but is more severe in children under the age of two.
Here are the symptoms to look for:
Fever, Runny Nose, Breathing Problems, Decrease in activity, Eating and Drinking.
It’s a virus, so antibiotics are not going to help. Just need to get rest, take plenty of fluids and a medicine to lower the fever. Go see your doctor first to get the proper medication and if you have problems with breathing.
