2013-2014 FLU SEASON
We are currently out of vaccine for the 2013-2014 flu season and will not be holding any additional clinics until next season.
Please remember that vaccination is the best way to protect your family from the flu. If your child still needs the flu vaccine, please check with your local pharmacy or health department for availability.
Please be aware that most pharmacies require a prescription in order to give vaccines to children. If your pharmacy has the vaccine available, we can provide you with a prescription.
Please leave a message on the medical advice line with the following information: your child’s name, date of birth, your phone number, and pharmacy name, address, and phone number. We will also need you to answer the following questions before we can provide you with a prescription: Is your child sick? Has your child ever received a flu vaccine in the past? Does your child have any allergies to food or medication?
If you have any questions regarding the flu or having your child vaccinated, please call our office and leave a message with one of our medical advice nurses.
We wish you all a happy and healthy 2014!
Winter is here and there is a chance of snow in the forecast!
At Commonwealth Pediatrics, it is our goal to remain open during normal business hours; however, the safety of our patients and staff is our top priority.
In the event of inclement weather, please check your local news stations, our Facebook page, or call our office for the most up-to-date information regarding any closing or delay.
Should our office be closed or delayed, our after-hours nurse triage line will continue to be available for medical advice.
If you have a medical emergency, please call 911.
