Sethelle Flowers, MD, joined the Commonwealth Pediatrics team as a pediatrician in 2023. Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi in Psychology with a minor in Classics, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She continued on to medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and completed her residency at the Holtz Children’s Hospital at the University of Miami.
Dr. Flowers chose pediatrics because of the unique opportunity it gives her to care for patients from birth to young adulthood. Her special interests include nutrition, lifestyle management and preventative care. She is passionate about teaching patients healthy habits early on, which can make a big impact on their futures.
Outside of the office, Dr. Flowers enjoys hiking, biking, rock climbing, cooking, reading and spending time with her three nephews. She loves all the outside experiences Richmond has to offer, from the beautiful James River to its proximity to Shenandoah National Park.
