“Amazing practice with great providers and convenient locations surrounding the Richmond area. We prefer the Harbour Pointe location due to its proximity to our house. It’s also where our daughters’ pediatrician is based! My daughters are the second generation in the family to be seen by Dr. Gilliam at Commonwealth Peds. My sister, my brother, and I were the first generation; from the time we were born until we unfortunately aged out of the practice, we practically lived there. Now we are lucky enough to be able to bring our daughters here as well! I highly recommend the practice!”

“They were awesome. Made a last minute appointment for my newborn, they got me in that next morning on a Saturday. All the staff were great even the Dr. The receptionist was welcoming, the nurse was patient with my cranky newborn and the Dr didn’t mind talking, gave suggestions and told me her experience of breastfeeding being that I’m having trouble with this child. She could have just done her job and referred me to a lactation person. Didn’t feel rushed at all. The vibe was just great. Now all three of my kids will have a new pediatrician.”

“Upon entering the office for our first visit the individuals at the front desk were very polite and helpful and even though I didn’t have everything I needed I was assured it would be okay. I had barely filled out the forms when we were called back. The nurse was so sweet and talked and played with my daughter as if she’d known her her entire life. It really kept my daughter at ease. The doctor we saw was NP Holly Holston. She was TERRIFIC. She was great with my daughter and played and interacted with her the entire time. She reviewed my daughter’s records and I feel as though she is very professional and knowledgeable. Overall I am so happy with this practice and I wish I had switched a long time ago.”
“Dr. Ayers has been wonderful. I didn’t know anything about this practice when I chose it, but I am truly happy I decided to bring my newborn here. Dr. Ayers listens thoroughly and asks multiple times if you have any more questions or concerns. He answers every question, eases every worry/fear, and even goes as far as to delve even deeper than he has to by letting you know things you would’ve never thought to ask. The nurses and receptionists are top notch and pretty much already know my son by name. Having a pediatrician so calm, collected, and knowledgeable when I, as a first time mom, am frantic and scared- truly is a blessing.”
