Lactation Consultant
Claire Cerand, BSN, RN, IBCLC, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University. As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Claire is passionate about newborn and postpartum care, as well as breastfeeding and lactation support. During her time working on a mother-baby unit in a hospital, she witnessed the emotional challenges and uncertainties that often accompany breastfeeding. These experiences inspired her to pursue lactation consulting so she could provide compassionate, evidence-based guidance and help parents feel confident and supported during this special time.
Claire Cerand takes a calm, supportive approach to lactation care. She creates a relaxed space where parents feel comfortable asking questions, learning at their own pace and growing confident in their abilities. She firmly believes that parents are the experts on their baby and works collaboratively with them to build confidence and empower them to make decisions that feel right for their family.
