Commonwealth Pediatrics (CPAM) is a thriving, physician-owned pediatric group dedicated to helping children grow up healthy, strong, and happy. Our team includes 10 board-certified pediatricians and 10 experienced nurse practitioners who care for families across three locations in the Richmond and Midlothian area.

Position Summary:
Commonwealth Pediatrics is seeking a Director of Quality & Compliance to lead regulatory, clinical quality, and safety programs across our multi-site pediatric practice. This role ensures compliance with all healthcare regulations while supporting high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and other regulatory standards
- Serve as HIPAA Privacy Officer and OSHA Safety Officer
- Lead quality initiatives including audits, chart reviews, and performance monitoring
- Manage laboratory compliance, proficiency testing, and vendor coordination
- Oversee vaccine program
- Coordinate staff training (HIPAA, OSHA, CPR, clinical competencies)
- Conduct site rounding and ensure consistency across all locations
- Maintain policies, documentation, and regulatory readiness
- Perform other duties and lead special projects assigned in support of organizational priorities
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, quality, or clinical operations with progressive responsibility
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and applicable healthcare regulatory standards
Preferred
- Experience in ambulatory or pediatric practice settings
- Preferred prior experience in a leadership role
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field
