Elizabeth Dodd, MS, MD, joined the Commonwealth Pediatrics team in 2026. Dr. Dodd earned her undergraduate in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Virginia before attending Eastern Virginia Medical School and completing her pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
She is passionate about caring for children of all ages—from newborns to adolescents—and values building long-term relationships with families as children grow and thrive. Dr. Dodd has a special interest in preventative care and global health.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, running, reading, traveling and participating in global health work in the Dominican Republic. She and her husband are excited to return to Virginia!
