Nowsheen Ahmed, MD, FAAP, is board certified in pediatric medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Ahmed received her MBBS medical degree from Dhaka Medical College in Bangladesh, and her Doctor of Medicine from UTMB in Galveston Texas, where she also completed her residency and training in pediatrics.
Dr. Ahmed has been practicing primary care pediatrics for the last 25 years and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Before moving to Richmond in 2005, Dr. Ahmed worked as an Assistant Professor at Southern Illinois University in Illinois.
Dr. Nowsheen Ahmed currently resides in Richmond, VA with her husband and two sons.
